Pretty much worthless now

Without the patent infringing decoding that we have come to know and love from the open-source media solutions (VLC, ffmpeg, XBMC, many others) this app is now useless to me. The majority of my files are H.264 with AC3/A52/Dolby Digital (3 names for the same thing) and support for that audio codec has been dropped.

The developers should license Dolby Digital decoding for use in the app. As it stands now, I cannot reasonably update to the latest version.

It was also unable to playback 720p x264 encoded files with AC3 audio smoothly even when it worked. So I suppose it was useless from day 1.
