Cant even play big_buck_bunny_1080p_surround.avi with sound.
The app keeps crashing every time I try to connect to my put.io account.
Please adjust for iPhone 6+ native resolution. The title says iPhone 6/6+ support.
It is far the best video player I have used so far for iPhone (trust me I have tried many) The automatic sub. In foreign Languages is perfect.
Havent tried other formats yet, but bought it specifically to watch an MKV video and it worked no better then my other players. Choppy and audio out of sync with video..
How about AirPlay and TV Out?
My videos keep disappearing and when I try to cut them to put them in the private folder I dont get a paste button. Save your money and dont purchase it until they fix their app.
Yeah it plays, but it doesnt play anything well. MKV playback was a out-of-sync test in patience. mp4 via itunes for me.
This is the first decent FLV player Ive found. It plays the videos very well and I had no troubles with most of the videos I tried. I had issues with one, but I contacted their support to discuss the problem, which is what people should do fist, instead of complaining in their reviews without giving the developer a chance to even look at the issue. The videos I played, played very smoothly and its really great being able to adjust contrast, brightness and other details of the image. Im looking forward to further updates to this app. I have quite a lot of FLV files and being able to play them without converting them first is a big deal for me.
Chucked all of my other players for this one. Plays everything Ive thrown at it and best of all it has a volume control which solves my problems of not having enough volume on planes.
On 720p and above the video stutters unplayably, Major disappointment, wish I had my money back!
Usually, one star reviews are an indication that the reviewer is lashing out. Please read on, as I have some nice things to say and an explanation of why this software is critically flawed. Its a real shame. The feature set is impressive: network connectivity is simple, downloading videos for offline play, playback speed control, video brightness and contrast, playback gestures; all of these are great. Other features are well thought out too. You can tell detailed thought was put into what people want in a video player. There are a few minor gripes, and one major one. First off, the passcode lock feature does nothing. You can set a passcode, but it doesnt prevent you from seeing or playing a file. Secondly, the audio will occasionally play with a static image when seeking to a new position. This is only intermittent, though. Thirdly, AirPlay support is not actually implemented the way it needs to be for video apps: you have to rely on AirPlay mirroring, which results in additional image quality loss. Lastly, while you can play audio and video from your network shares, you cant view photos. Based on my next point, photo slide shows might have been this apps only saving grace. The major issue is that playback is never smooth. Standard definition videos, whether streamed off a fast network or copied to the iPad and played locally, play back choppily. I have not found any video formats that play properly. MPEG4, WMV3, and H264 all play back with constant frame dropouts. The playback quality setting does not help: even at the "low/fast" setting, where resolution is cut down significantly, playback is jittery. Audio files can be played back over the network but will have hiccups. The problem disappears when copied to the local device. While useless to me, this software might be worth $2 if smooth playback doesnt matter to you. Its a shame that it isnt even salvaged by an ability to do image slideshows. Id be happy spending a dollar for that. This app doesnt seem to be ready. I hope that smooth playback is possible and that choppiness is a problem the developers can overcome. With the current feature set and all these problems removed, this software would absolutely be worth between $4 and $6.
Seems to play most file types without issue. Have had issues where mkv files randomly play at half or quarter speed after playing normally for the first minute or so of the video. Changing settings dont seem to fix this.
I love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love this app!
Plays anything.
Just downloaded this apps, it work perfectly on both my iPad and iPhone, very easy to use, just drag and load using iTunes , no more conversion to do !!! I give it a 5 for ease to use and quality of video !!!! Pierre
Plays most mkv files perfectly.
I have to say that this app is almost perfect. The only complaint I have is that it does not allow multiple downloads through wifi connection and the download feature can not handle large files. I find that the download is slow and then freezes the app. Hope you can fix it and improve this feature and its download capabilities.
Tested on iPhone 4 and the new iPad and not the best. There are videos that lag or skip frames excessively where other media players do not. iPhone 4 works best with aceplayer, and the new iPad plays best with goodplayer. Nice interface but until playback quality is so far away from these other media players, I cannot recommend this media player.
