I paid money for this app, only to find that it crashes upon opening. I try to open and it closes automatically. Please fix. Will change my review once its fixed. *** notes for devs - it seems to crash when I load a lot of videos in the "document", part of iTunes - as per your website says to do. Most of these videos are smallish, 20-100mb per file.

Please update the app. Im very grateful, thank you. Im looking forward to new additions.

This was my best video app. Used it daily to play any video. Than came audio codec restriction. I did not updated and still used it happily. Updated to this version. Can play anything. But on iPhone 4 it become slow and choppy. Files which played before are having issues. Crashes some times. Would give 2 star, but because what it was and hopefully might become I give 3 stars.

Ive tried many free apps that couldnt play the audio tracks on my MKVs but this one works perfectly and has a great interface.

I really do love this app because of all its rich features but it could be greater. Only problem is it crashes after downloading a file but even more important for me is that I wish it had support for OneDrive. OneDrive is one of the biggest cloud services especially since they are now offering unlimited storage for customers. So many people are now hoping on OneDrive and it would be great if this app supported it like it does Dropbox. Would definitely change my review to 5 once OneDrive is supported.

This apps does something that many others dont do. I paid for others apps only to see a problems arise while watching videos in all of them. The screen blackness would constantly shift during the scenes passing from pitch black to less so it was realy annoying while watching any videos. Search on internet for this problem and some people told that Its Playing did not ad this probem and I confirm it. Uploading movies is really fast compare to others.

This app has been amazing for streaming video’s on my NAS as well as playing it direct to my Apple TV. And it’s invaluable when my kid is screaming for Paw Patrol on a car ride. It’s a huge benefit to have one program that will pay all my video types and I don’t have to mess around. But, there are times that it just will not work. Everything looks like it’s okay, and then, poof! The app shuts down. Restart, reinstall, doesn’t matter. It just will not work. It’s awesome when it’s working, which makes it even worse when it’s not.

After upgrade sound is lost after 30 seconds of playback. Going back to the explorer simply crashes the app.

I know Its a very good app ,and it can search subtitles online just what I want,but why when use it ,all my movies the subs is No subtitles available ,I try again and again ,but it dont work ,I want know why

since a week ive been looking for an app to watch videos stored on my local area network nas on my ipad. i tried almost every application in the store, by chance i met this application and i was really surprised how smooth its playback and seeking forward/backwards stability even the video is streamed from the network. stable and fast, i strongly suggest. its also very thoughtful that they created a walkaround for the dts audio issue, im sure that they will implement dts decoding into the application when dts will finally give up and let people use their codec. thanks.

This players description suggest that it can play 720p MKV. Yes it does but forget about smooth playback. It rather jumpy slideshow on iPad 3. Furthermore it have a problems with simple avi files with resolutions below 640x480 which is a shame. Waste of money !!!

***update*** Discourage to buy due to drop of ac3 support. The work around solution is cumbersome and requires extra manual work from users. It used to be great player, but with new update it is going down in my rating list. Previous version: No problems with playing supported file types. Interface is ok, but does not display long filenames. Overall, worth buying, better than AvHdPlayer.

It doesnt support widely used audio codecs, so if you want to watch MKV tv shows or movies it wont play any sound!! This makes this app completely useless for me.. Developer, please buy the audio codec license because i feel like I wasted my money!

Great player! But can you add equalizer for audio? Then will be perfect

This one really works. There are no more bugs during watching avi with ac3 audio track.

SMB/CIFS playback is just great, 4GB limit finally solved. AC3 sound works fine. Shortcuts management is somewhat messy though.

As of 6.0 update my files play without sound. In 6.0 restore button would result in success alert but the prompt to upgrade would reappear. In 6.0.1 this restore button is not doing anything at all.

It works perfect. Good player.
