I had no problem as a player but airplay is not working at all.

We love this app to store TV episodes for long family road trips.

speed is only 350Kbps if using the internet turned on on a Sandisk wireless flash..connecting local will run out of buffer even just flac files..and the worst thing is..its making a clicking noise when you are playing flac files while it is still downloading.. hardware: iphone6+ , sony MDR-1A, connected to DAC sound blaster E5.

Playback stops around 20+ minutes into a video. PLEASE FIX!!!!!!

(Edit: Get Fetch Player instead of this - it works well and it can stream subtitles to Apple TV and Chromecast. I am also dropping 2 stars, because it all too often freezes and stutters when streaming to Apple TV, to the point of it being unusable.) It really needs to be able to accept Apple TV remote commands. Also, It should be able to function in the background - instead it requires that its on screen and in the foreground during playback.

Actually Ive already got AVPlayer for local media and Zsun for streaming media for watching movies on my iPhone but recently I just bought Sandisk Wireless drive to store more movies. Sandisk app suggested me to buy "Its Playing Pro" in order to watch movies so I gave it a try but very disappoint with the quality of this app. With the same video file AVplayer has mire function to use and Zsun can stream video nearly flawless. Its Playing Pro is lacked of many function and always keep buffering that make me cant watch the movie at all.

I like this one. It streams any* format over my local network to my iDevice without any issues at all. It remember where you stopped watching. Supports subtitles and downloading. *It doesnt support DTS (yet at least). Another thing that would be an awesome bonus is if it could browse within zip archives for sub titles (locally and on local networks) etc. Just like xbmc/Kodi. When it can do that, its a 5 star app in my book (despite not being to handle DTS yet). Please implement a good subtitle browser :)

Worked as expected for a couple of days. Now it just crashes when I click on "Network". Still does it even after the update.

I think this is the best app for streaming media from your PC. Unfortunately in the latest update has app-breaking bugs. There are issues with the app closing while trying to set up connections. Yesterday I could work around the issues by "bookmarking" my connection. Today I updated iOS to the latest release and I cant get the app to connect to anything. The app simply closes when you try.

This app has it all. It plays almost all video extensions. It has dolby audio,AC3. (One of the first and few that has obtained a license for that . It can forward and backward with gestures. It fetches subtitles from online. You can play your video/audio files from network and shared folders. It can cash them on the device for later viewing. It can change the play speed, video gamma, has audio booster. And much more. Im very happy that I got this app. Speed control witg FW & BW and gamma control are important features for me since it is impossible to shift to the required scene or skip a few seconds with the slide control without wasting more time repeating or moving too much. I really recommend it.

Its constantly crashing accessing a Network Share!!!! Since a couple of versions ago most of the time I get an error "Unsupported Audio Format" and it takes you to a page that basically said that they had to stop supporting a couple of the most used Audio formats. "We were forced to remove four audio codecs from Its playing: DTS, AC3, EAC3 and MLP." AC3 ??? Come on?? Most of the MKV audio and MP4 audio is encoded in AC3… DONT Buy This!!!!!

This app is one of the best purchases I have made on App Store lately. Great for streaming videos of my SanDisk wireless flash drive, and unlike VLC player it supports AC3 sound format. Also you can download YouTube videos directly to your device in a snap.
